Q: Where are you located?

A: ICAN is conveniently located at 1049 S. Eastern Blvd (US Hwy 301) in Fayetteville NC.  Our entrance is on the access road between Hwy 87 and Owen Dr. You can’t miss us…Look for our big yellow sign! Link to map/directions

*Please note – when leaving our facility do not turn right. There is no exit.

Q: What types of material do you take at your recycling facility?

A: We take mixed construction and demolition waste; land clearing and inert debris such as soil, wood, concrete, asphalt, sand clay, brick and yard waste; and recycled products (metal, cardboard and white goods).  You are welcome to stop in and get a tip fee schedule.  Recyclables can be brought in for free. We do not accept household trash or fire damaged debris.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

A:  We accept cash, check or credit/debit card- Discover, MasterCard or Visa. We do not accept American Express.

Q: What is a cubic yard?

A: A cubic yard (yd) is a unit of volume equal to 27 cubic feet.  Small volume purchases are loaded with a skid steer or Bobcat. 2 full scoops are equal to 1 yd.  1 yd of mulch will cover about 100 square feet 3-4 inches deep, the amount recommended to smother weeds and hold in moisture.  For other materials, 1 yd will cover 100-200 square feet depending on the depth to which it is spread.

Q: How much will my pick-up truck hold?

A: All trucks are different, but a truck with a standard size bed will hold about 1½ to 2 yards of mulch and ½ to 1 yard of heavy products like topsoil or gravel.

Q: Do you deliver products?

A: Yes, we deliver. You are welcome to call or come for a quote on delivery cost. This can be particularly beneficial if you need a large amount of material as most product purchases of 5 or more yards (or tons) are discounted.

Q: How can I benefit from buying ICAN’s recycled products?

A: Purchasing ICAN’s environmentally friendly products not only keeps material out of the landfill and reduces pollution from shipping products long distances,  it allows you to GO GREEN and save money in the process.  Most of ICAN’s materials are manufactured right at the Fayetteville facility from which they are sold.  The same products sold at other businesses have been hauled a great distance from an out-of-town manufacturer. ICAN avoids trucking costs and middle man markups, saving you as much as 50% on your home landscaping materials.  We load the smallest pick-up trucks, to the largest semis and pass the savings on to our customers.
